Like we all know, this blog is being written by a girl who is crazy about food, apart from her makeup! And what better way to start food trails here than to review my favorite place to eat-out in! Today I’m going to review my super favorite ‘Cafe Zo’ which is located amidst the scenic and always buzzing with youth and energy- Hauz Khas Village in the heart of South Delhi.
The cafe has super cool, vintage appeal to it- from the worn out chairs to the dim lighting and huge chandeliers, everything appeals my taste the minute I enter inside. One side of the cafe has huge windows, outside which are huge trees, so you get a lush view, with birds and squirrels popping in and out. Occasionally, you may spot a peacock too 😀 .
The service at Cafe Zo is prompt, and you are attended to as soon as you reach there. The staff is polite, courteous, and well versed with the menu. The food tastes delicious too- me and my gang of friends ordered the following and this is how we liked it:
Roman Emperor Julius Ceasar Salad
Tasted farm-fresh, and very delicious! I’m kinda addicted to Ceasar’s Salad generally, and most of the times, when I order a salad, it has to be a Ceasar’s Salad. This one has to be one of the best that I’ve had! 🙂 I do wish the lettuce leaves were torn to smaller bits, though.
A classic in it’s own right- the bread was perfectly crisp and the toppings delicately seasoned- too good! This is that one thing which is a must-have for me. The ones with mushroom are totally out-of-the-world! You have to try it to know what I’m saying!
Another amazing dish on offer! Is a little heavy, but not in a bad way.
Fresh and crisp is how I’d describe it. A veggie’s delight! The interesting play of color with different toppings makes it a pleasure to look at too, and it tastes just as nice!
Coffee, Tea and Chocolate Brownie (served with ice-cream)
These are repeat orders everytime I visit the cafe. Made to perfection!
