So you just reached home from work? Gotta rush for a Diwali party with your peeps? No time to get ready? Well, I have some fun ideas for you to implement, to save time yet look different from the crowd and all prepped up for a Diwali party!
For a casual Diwali party outfit inspiration, I’ve paired a bright, color blocked saree with a bold, fun print with a crisp white shirt instead of a regular blouse. A white shirt adds a lot of contrast to the outfit, and a totally new dimension. Also, I haven’t pleated or tucked the pallu with a pin like we conventionally do- instead, I wore the pallu like a muffler/ scarf. It is also so much more easier to wear when in hurry.
Slip into some comfy flat juttis or ballerinas, add a few accessories here and there complementing your outfit, with a little bit of ethnic touch by either wearing statement earrings or a statement ring.
Keep the eye makeup simple, use highlighter liberally since Diwali is all about ‘glow’, and wear a bright lipstick that complements your outfit.
For ethnic, party wear sarees, I’d recommend you guys to hop over to www.sareez.com for some really interesting designs for the festive season. They have a huge variety of sarees to suit everyone’s needs and budgets!
How did you like the outfit? Would you dare to go different when it comes to styling your saree, or wear it the regular way this season? Do share your thoughts below 🙂
