Monsoons are finally, hopefully here in Delhi now. It rained cats and dogs here today. And when it rains, the first thing we think of is spicy, fried food! Being the total foodie that I am, the first thing that I like to do the moment it rains is to run to the kitchen, make some french fries or fritters, make tea/ coffee for everyone and sit by the window-side with a book in hand!
Grated cucumber, grated carrots, chopped onions- roughly one cup total. Around 2/3rd cup hung curd. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients. Done!
This dip will go well with all sorts of chips and tortillas and other such things. It even worked really well as a filling for a sandwich that I made (multi-grain bread, no cheese). you could add more herbs to alter the flavor, or even chilli flakes to spice it up, depending on your taste.
Overall, this DIY healthy dip for tortillas is better than cheese-laden dips that we get from the supermarket, in case you are looking for something similar.
