Dilli 32, the Indian Cuisine restaurant at Leela Ambience Convention Hotel takes you on a culinary journey discovering delicious hidden delights through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. The second city on the Grand Trunk Culinary Journey food festival, recreates the magic of Old Delhi food and culture with true authentic flavor that Chef de Cuisine, Ashwani Kumar Singh has personally brought back.
Starting from April 29th, 2016 the fun and indulgent festival will offer authentic lip smacking Muglai, Indian specialties and street snacks like Sutli Kebab, Goli Kebab, Anmol’Roast chicken, Tabak Maaz, Gushtaba, Roganjosh, Chicken Changezi, Tokri Chaat, Nagori Halwa, Ajwain Arbi, Masala Kathal, Papad ki Sabzi and Kudemal ki Kulfi among other dishes.
Alongside the food, you can also enjoy live story telling by Asif Khan Dehlvi on weekends and live music on weekdays. The stories about the Nawabs and their courtesans really transport you to that era.
The food is finger-licking good. From the welcome with a sattu and gur concoction which instantly cools you in this hot weather to the carefully selected menu and well prepared dishes, the food festival is not to be missed.
Our favorite picks from the menu were the Burra, Pateli kebab, Raan-e-Jahangiri, chicken changezi and Gulathi. The bedmi puri and aloo bhaji were nicely done too.
