The China Kitchen at Hyatt Regency, Delhi is one of my go-to places for amazing Chinese food. They have revamped their menu now after a lot of years, and here’s what we thought of it when we sampled it!
PS: You can check out our last review here.
One of my favorite things to have at The China Kitchen are their dumplings, but the new shrimp stuffed red chili dumplings totally blew my mind away this time. I like my meals to be on the spicier side, and this was just that! Surely something not to be missed! Appetizers like lotus root fritters and prawn spring rolls are nice to begin your meal with too.
Moving towards the new mains from poultry, meat and sea food categories, it was lovely to see a whole new set of dishes on offer in an otherwise already famous place. The crispy spicy jumbo prawns were simply delicious and are sure to be a big hit with those who love sea food. We also really liked the flavors and texture on the twice cooked crispy lamb shank. Probably one of the best lamb shanks I’ve had!
Stir friend asparagus and mushrooms and Sichuan style vegetable and tofu curry made for great accompaniments with the variety of noodles and rice on offer.
For those with major sweet cravings, we’d suggest opting for a desert platter instead of just one dessert (especially if you are out with a group). With a wide array of options from fresh fruits to truffles and everything in between, you are sure to love this platter! The egg tarts on this one were a personal favorite!
Do give the new menu at The China Kitchen at Hyatt Regency Delhi a try! We highly recommend it!
