I recently went on a road-trip to Chandigarh. Mom had to attend one of her colleagues’ daughter’s wedding, and I tagged along.. As of now, my new year’s resolution of travelling atleast once every month is shaping up really well. Can’t wait for more such trips..

Anyhoo, here’s a small travelogue for you guys…

#FoodieMusings: Karim’s, Airport, Foodhall, etc.

Hey everyone!

August has come to an end already, and here’s a new section on the blog- #FoodieMusings! Even though I’m an out and out foodie and a regular blogger, it is not always possible to share everything in detail on the blog, given how much I eat! LOL!

So #FoodieMusings shall be like quickie food posts- things that I have been eating on the go and whether I recommend them or not!

First off, you must check out the post on Jashn-e-Awadh food festival at Paatra.

And some more food now 😀

Foodhall is doing an American-cuisine festival all of this month, and I tried a couple of things like Greek Salad, burgers with black bean+ feta+ chipotle salsa which were yum, and waffles with ginger and orange reduction on top. Goes to my must-make-at-home list! Heavenly!

Lakme Fashion Week W/F 2014: Day 0

Hey everyone!

Lakme Fashion Week Winter-Festive 2014 kick-started to a rocking show by designers Masaba Gupta and Amit Aggarwal yesterday. below is a glimpse 😉

Masaba Gupta ‘Wanderness’ collection

The collection takes inspiration from renowned poet Roman Payne’s character Saskia, had all the characteristic touches that the young designer lavishes on her garments.

Inspired by the Goan woman whose adventurous and free thinking nature has been iconic, Masaba brought these qualities along with a hint of delicate touches for her line. Going for the vintage 1960’s look, the colour palette burst onto the ramp with lavish use of yellow and neon hues and created that splash of Goan flavour. Masaba’s fabric choice was scuba, satin, jersey and crepe for the trio of prints.

For a show stopping entry, it had to be Shilpa Shetty in a slinky black printed cut-out gown with an attached dupatta drape – just the right addition for a beach time soirée
