#Travelogue #Andamans: The ocean, Havelock island and Kala Patthar

Hey everyone!

I’m back with part-2 of the Andamans Travelogue series on the blog- and this time, it’s literally a ‘water water everywhere’ kinda post!

After our first day at Port Blair, the next day we headed out to Havelock Island. Travel from one island to another is always by ship, but between Port Blair and Havelock, you can even book a helicopter if you please. We went by ship, coz this is the best way to experience the sea! And this 4 hour journey left us mesmerised- being on a ship with just a bunch of other people, and having nothing else but water around you leaves you with a lot of time to introspect- you feel really tiny and small in front of the vastness of the ocean! Anyhoo, have a look at the pics čÖé

#Travelogue #Andamans: Port Blair

Hey everyone!

There’s a saying in Hindi- Der Aaye Durust Aaye, translating to ‘Better late than never’ in meaning (not literally, though!!). So here I am with my Andamans travelogue (I shared a teaser post long back). Apologies for all the delay. And well, the memories of this trip are still so fresh and clear in my mind that I will be able to finish up this series on the blog with much ease. This was one unforgettable trip! Without much ado, here we go, to Andamans!

We reached Port Blair, the capital city, around noon, and after lunch, we first had to visit the emergency department at the Hospital since Dad got a neck sprain during the flight. It was quite a stressful time for us, and we had almost planned to take the next flight back home. Anyhoo, all was ok and we continued the trip, with much care ofcourse!

By the time we got free from the hospital, it was time for us to visit the Cellular Jail. Take a look below:
