Hi everyone, Wish you all a very happy new year. Am sure most of you must have started with your new year resolutions and working…
Around the end of May, two girls packed their bags and left on a trip to Nahargarh, Ranthambore, Rajasthan. Today I am going to take you all on a virtual tour of our trip. Get ready to be immersed in luxury!
I’m back with part-2 of the Andamans Travelogue series on the blog- and this time, it’s literally a ‘water water everywhere’ kinda post!
After our first day at Port Blair, the next day we headed out to Havelock Island. Travel from one island to another is always by ship, but between Port Blair and Havelock, you can even book a helicopter if you please. We went by ship, coz this is the best way to experience the sea! And this 4 hour journey left us mesmerised- being on a ship with just a bunch of other people, and having nothing else but water around you leaves you with a lot of time to introspect- you feel really tiny and small in front of the vastness of the ocean! Anyhoo, have a look at the pics 🙂
Leaving Port Blair:
Raise your hands, Mumbai people!
Well, I’m an out and out Delhiite, and there’s no place quite like Delhi for me, and I know the quintessential Delhi- Mumbai ‘My City is Better Than Yours’ war of words going about all the time. But honestly, for me and my family, Mumbai has taken from us more than it has given back to us. I wouldn’t get into the details, but I just can’t bring myself to like Mumbai much. No, I don’t hate it. Nevertheless, professional commitments take me to Mumbai quite often, and slowly but steadily, I’m warming up to the city again. 🙂
Two sights that you never see in Delhi- beach and beach-side-greenery (not sure if the ones below are palm trees 😛 )
